The staff at BestBuy were friendly and helpful (as always) and price matched my online order - $27.99 + tax = $31.63. Converting that into US dollars at todays exchange rate gives me a price of $25.29, so not too bad a deal. One thing I did notice is that the online price is $32.99, while the in store price is $34.99 (a 6% mark up!) - so ordering online for in store pick up is clearly the way to go. After waiting for 2 weeks for BestBuy.ca to get around to shipping my copy of Wall E (my online order was stuck in Out of Stock) I finally printed out my online order and headed into the local BestBuy store.

The team that puts the show together is nuts but the production is very good and they have some great game coverage. I subscribe to their video feed (a new show usually come out once a week). There are also playable free demos of games available. The store also offers a downloadable for a fee games, and extras such as themes. Mirrors Edge is very cool. Getting me exited for the day (which is going to be before year's end) when I finally buy the PS3 for myself. Been watching and waiting for some time on this system as well. As for Blu-Ray, I'm on the fence about this. Having a large DVD collection and already using the Oppo DV-983H I'm not really motivated to invest in the brick and mortar industry again. We'll see.
