Scott Crevier  has created a  few list databases to share – if you’re a NFL fan this might be something you’ll get a lot out of.

Check them out on his download page

If anyone else has databases they’d like to share, drop me an email and I’ll happily add some links.

I do wish that LIST will take advantage of the Alphasmart Dana’s 560 x 160 wide screen. Thanks.

Of course, you may already know that http://www.memoware.com has some List database files available. They’re hard to notice amidst all the other stuff there, but if you do an “advanced search” and specify LIST format, you’ll see there are over 100 there.

Formerly you could send contributions to memoware.com. Now it looks like you must create an account there first, so they may not get as many contributions as the used to.

If you check out the download page – you’ll see the link to memoware that helps you locate any List format databases.

Would you considering porting List to Symbian OS? or Java? I am a long time user of ListDB since 2001. I have change several PDA, now I run ListDB on my Sony TJ37 for 3 years already. I have 20 active DB with total of approx 7000 records. I can’t drop it even if i want to switch to Sony w950i. I was looking for a way to port it to Symbian or Java as more PDA-phone can use it.

Moving to Symbian OS isn’t something I think I’d bother with – but a simple Midlet viewer in java might be something I consider doing.

As for timeline – that’s hard to promise. I just don’t have a lot of spare time.

I am not sure if I overlooked it or not, but is there a way to sort the database either by letter or number?
    Thanks!

List uses an alpha-sort. You can select which field is used for the sorting (field1 or field2) via the customization dialog.

hi, on installing on my new T|X handheld i saw that the icon is made without transparency, it’s just an optical, minor problem, is it planned to fix that ?

I’m happy to investigate making the icon transparent – enabling a color icon (and a better icon) are on the to do list.
