Android version of List
June 20th, 2011
I had nothing to do with the creation of this, but it seems to be a wonderful resource for people who’ve been “stuck” on PalmOS devices with plenty of List databases.
An Android application that mimics the functionality of List is available on the Android market. Look up ListDBA.
Internally it uses it’s own data format for storage, but has an import option that appears to properly consume List data files (.pdb).

Thanks for posting this – I wrote some rather large lists for a diet program and was trying to figure out how to get them over to my new ‘phone. This is a lot less hassle than trying to convert the data. 🙂

I am visiting this page for time to time, with hope for a migration solution (as retyping db content is too long due to volume of data).
And I found your post ! 🙂
Thank you for this post, that gave some sun in my new android journey.

I have successfully transfered my old Palm data to List for Android. However I seem to be missing the categories at the head of the tables. Otherwise on opening an item I see that the proper category is there.

Thank you, Andrew, for this bit of news on ListDBA. I was an iPhone user after Palm went Jurassic, but because of ListDBA, I bought my first android device – your legacy lives on!
